Emerald City ComiCon 2011 Report...Sort of...
While we did not have an artist alley table at the ECCC this year we did go to spend some money and see some fellow creators. Lots of excellent creators again this year.
Good to talk with Jason Janicki and Leigh Kellogg of Wayfarer's Moon again. They have put together an excellent graphic novel that you should seek out and buy.
Also nice to talk to Shannon Devine, creator of Psychedelic Circumstances again. Looking forward to seeing her next project.
Spent more money at the Sofawolf Press booth on some very nice books (I probably should've bought Ursula Vernon's "Digger" too).
Unexpectedly got to meet artist Erin Middendorf whom I had never met before but whose art I have seen and loved for quite while on the web.
Got three sketchbooks by artist Laurie B! which we really like.
Savannah Horrocks had a very thick sketchbook of neat art.
As for us here at ISB press, stay tuned for updates on when we will be posting more stuff. But Lydia's deviant art page gets new art posted quite often.

Molasses
Well, disregard that last bit about a bi-weekly schedule apparently. At least for a while. Still working on it...when we can. I don't want to give a time estimate yet as to when I'll be able to get issue 3's pages up. Page 2 (of issue 3) is lettered and bordered. Just need to finish inking it. Page 3 needs some final pencils then ink. The rest are in various states of pencil, form rough to nearly finished. This is kind of rambling, but hopefully this gives you some idea as to what’s going on.
In a meager attempt to tide you over I have posted a couple of sketch cards I (James) did for the 2010 Emerald City Comicon in the Gallery

Wha-What the!? Huh? What month is it?!
Um, yeah. So, it appears that it is taking a bit longer to get pages finished than we anticipated. We ARE working on it. But we don't know when the next page will be-
What's that? We do?...Oh! It looks like the new page for Swansong Issue 3 page 1 has been posted! Right NOW! How cool is that!? (Okay not that cool)
Here's hoping a return to a bi-weekly schedule for Swansong. And Lydia's deviant art page updates as well. Check it!

...... Mumble mumble... ...more soup 'n. ......
Forgive us for taking so long to update. We're still (still!) working on the next issues for our respective comics. But, next week could see a new page posting for Swansong (issue 3 page 1) and/or Rosenrot:EN. But we can't guarantee anything.
Lydia HAS however, posted some new artwork on her deviant art page. It's super neat-o!

Post Emerald City ComiCon 2010 Post.
Thanks to those who attended the Emerald City Comicon and took a bookmark or sticker. Sadly we were only able to attend Saturday, so apologies to anyone who came looking for us Sunday only to find our table abandoned.
First, thanks to Shannon Devine, creator of Psychedelic Circumstances and to the two from Jarlidium Press who bought comics. The three of them made up our entire sales for the con! (Do I laugh or do I cry?)
We saw a lot of excellent creators again this year. Leigh Kellogg and Jason Janicki of Wayfarer's Moon were there. Good to talk with them again.
Other excellent artist we liked included: Nicole Dubois, Katie Williamson, Emily Warren, Christina Strain and Diana Vick. Check them out. It was cool to see Terry Moore of Strangers In Paradise as well.
Sofawolf Press once again had some very nice books at the convention.
Oh, and some guy named Stan Lee was there too. So I heard.
